Los padres deben revisar las mochilas de sus hijos TODOS LOS DÍAS para sacar los trabajos realizados en clase, ver y completar la tarea, así como organizar y limpiar la mochila para el día siguiente. La tarea se enviará a casa una vez que los estudiantes estén preparados —dentro del primer mes de clases— y deberá devolverse al día siguiente. Los estudiantes deben SABER y COMPRENDER cómo realizarla, ya que es una continuación directa de las actividades del día. Los estudiantes comenzarán a llevar computadoras a casa ocasionalmente; deben cuidarlas y traerlas de vuelta todos los días para usarlas y cargarlas en la escuela. Los estudiantes deben ver mis videos de manera constante (encontrarán los enlaces más abajo). Estos videos sirven para asegurar que su hijo cumpla con todos los requisitos necesarios para la graduación. Cada video incluye numerosos apoyos visuales, lecciones y actividades, por lo que los niños deben tener papel y lápiz a mano y estar listos para realizar dichas actividades. Como padres, tengan en cuenta que, aunque un video dure solo 20 minutos, por ejemplo, si su hijo lo pausa para realizar el trabajo, la actividad completa podría llevar más de una hora. Por ello, les sugiero llevar un registro del momento en que el niño detiene el video para continuar a la tarde siguiente. No espero que los estudiantes completen un video entero cada noche; deben realizar una pequeña parte y ustedes, como padres, pueden pausar la reproducción y anotar en qué video y en qué minuto se quedaron para que puedan retomar la actividad la noche siguiente. Estas listas de reproducción deben repetirse una vez finalizadas; es decir, cuando su hijo llegue al último video, debe comenzar el proceso nuevamente desde el primero. Esta repetición constante, sumada al trabajo realizado en clase, garantizará que estén bien preparados para los años venideros.
Parents should review childrens backpacks EVERYDAY to remove classwork, see homework and complete it, and organize and clean the bag for each new day. Homework will be sent home when students are ready, within a month of starting school and should be returned the next day. Students should KNOW and UNDERSTAND the way to complete it, since it is a direct continuation of the day's activities. Students will begin to bring computers home from time to time. They must be cared for and brought back every day to use and charge here. Students should should watch my videos on a continuous basis. Find the links below. These videos are a way to keep your child on target to complete all the necessary requirements for graduation. Each video has many visual aides, lessons, and activities, so children should have a paper and pencil ready and be ready to complete these activities. As parents, understand that these videos may only be 20 minutes long for example, but if your child is pausing and doing the work, each video could take over an hour. Therefore, parents should keep a log of when a child stops each video to continue the next evening. For example, I do not expect students to complete an entire video each night. They should do a small amount and then as the parent you can pause and log which video they were on and what time they stopped so the next night they can pick up where they left off. These playlists of videos should be repeated when completed, so once your child reaches the last video, start the process again from the first. This constant repetition, combined with the work they produce in class will ensure they are well prepared for the years to come.

ABOUT THE BILINGUAL PROGRAM
El departamento Bilingüe apoya estudiantes que son clasificados a través de las reglas de Nueva Jersey. Todos los padres de los estudiantes elegible para estos servicios reciben documentación antes de empezar los servicios. Esta documentación se envía después de la administración de los exámenes del Idioma. La información llega por correspondencia en Español e Inglés. Si tienen preguntas después de revisar la información me pueden mandar un envió electrónico. The Bilingual Department supports students that are classified according to New Jersey state regulations. All parents of eligible students will receive documentation before services are provided. This documentation is sent out after the language entrance exams. This documentation will arrive via mail in Spanish and English.
